  • Course title and description: CHRI 5381 Kerygma Summit 2024
This course is linked to the Kerygma Summit 2024 and its presentations. Course focuses on developing biblical interpretation skills and reading skills to better understand God’s word as it relations in general to believers and specifically to women. It examines women’s lives in the New Testament and the wider Greco-Roman world by studying the biblical text, literary sources, and archaeological evidence. • We have partnered with Denver Seminary to create a safe, intimate learning cohort. • No, the only “requirement” for attendance is a desire to know Jesus more intimately and to communicate the Living Hope of the Gospel more effectively.

However, much of the material that will be taught and presented will be in-depth and theologically “chewy,” which means there might be a few moments when we will all feel like we’re drinking from a firehose, so plan on bringing your Bible, a notebook, and writing until your hand cramps!

But rest assured, we’ll have plenty of breaks when you can guzzle caffeine and gobble snacks to keep you fortified and energized.

  • For the first time, we have created a digital pass that gives you access to ALL main sessions + two breakout sessions from The Kerygma Summit '24 conference for 90 days. Click Here for more details.

  • No, there’s not an age requirement. However, in light of the in-depth nature of the material that will be presented, it’s definitely more suitable for adult, relatively mature Christians.

  • Since all of the material presented at The Kerygma Summit is biblically based, it applies largely to the whole community of Christ followers and is rarely gender specific.

However, the purpose and overt theme of The Kerygma Summit is equipping women to be more effective Bible teachers and spiritual leaders.

Therefore, the majority of the audience will be female and many of the messages will specifically address them and their needs. But if some kind, respectful, non-disruptive, and well-intentioned brothers in Christ really want to attend, we’ll do our best to welcome them warmly and find a place for them to sit within the sisterhood!

  • We’ll have coffee, water and light snacks available throughout The Summit, but all meals are “on your own.” To make things easy, there will be food trucks on-site for your convenience and there are also plenty of nearby restaurants to choose from.

  • We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, who became man and lived and died and rose again to atone for the sins of those who trust in Him alone for their salvation.

We believe in Jesus Christ as our personal savior, that He has forgiven our sins, redeemed us from eternal separation from God and reconciled us to a right relationship with Him. (Acts 4:10-12)

We believe that all men are sinners and are totally unable to save themselves by “works of righteousness,” tradition, or religious activity. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

We believe the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are inerrant for God’s intended purposes, inspired by the Holy Spirit, the only infallible rule and divine authority in all manners of faith and life. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

We believe in the Trinity; that there is one God who exists eternally in three Persons – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are one God, the same in substance, equal in power and glory. (Genesis 1:26-27)

We believe that God’s Holy Spirit gives Christians the daily strength and wisdom to walk according to God’s will and to grow in holiness and Christ-likeness. (John 14:26)

We believe that Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly to the earth - as we know it - to judge all mankind and receive Christians to Himself. (Acts 15:13-17, Revelation 7)
